The Riverside County Transportation Commission joined the Riverside County Transportation Department and cities of Eastvale and Jurupa Valley on September 26 to commemorate the start of construction of the $48 million Limonite Avenue Interstate 15 Interchange Project.

Give game traffic the end run! The Riverside County Transportation Commission, Metrolink, and area transportation agencies have teamed up to offer this season’s Football Train. For only $10 per round-trip, fans can pass traffic and parking costs by using Metrolink to travel to and from five Los Angeles Rams Sunday home games. 

It’s a common sight throughout Riverside County – a Metrolink train zipping by at speeds of up to 79 miles per hour, filled with commuters heading to and from work or a recreational activity, or a freight train carrying a long line of cargo crossing at a busy intersection. But did you know that it can take the length of 18 football fields for a train to stop? That’s more than a mile!

SunLine Transit Agency has launched its new Haul Pass program, which provides free unlimited SunBus rides for students actively enrolled in College of the Desert.

Travel lanes have shifted toward the median on both northbound and southbound Interstate 15 near State Route 91, allowing crews to work safely along the outside shoulders of I-15. 

The California Transportation Commission (CTC) awarded $71.55 million to the Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC) today to partner with Caltrans to build truck lanes and safe shoulders on State Route 60 in the “Badlands” area of unincorporated Riverside County between Moreno Valley and Beaumont. 

Construction is under way to expand the Riverside-La Sierra Metrolink Station, making it easier for train riders and other transit users to access the station and park before continuing their commutes.

Motorists will have a new entrance and exit to and from Interstate 215 in Perris, with construction of the Placentia Avenue interchange starting next year.
