The Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC), in partnership with the Southern California Regional Railroad Authority (Metrolink), is proposing the Mead Valley Metrolink Station/Mobility Hub Project. The station would serve the 91/Perris Valley Line between the existing Moreno Valley/March Field and Perris-Downtown stations in the unincorporated community of Mead Valley.

The new station and mobility hub would provide Mead Valley and nearby communities along the I-215 corridor, including Perris, San Jacinto, and Hemet, with direct access to Metrolink service and more ways to connect to regional destinations.

As Mead Valley and nearby communities continue to grow the project would:

• Expand transportation choices and regional access to jobs, education, and other destinations through the Metrolink network.
• Help relieve traffic congestion by offering an alternative to driving alone on I-215 and nearby roadways.
• Support multimodal connections with bicycle lockers, bus bays, passenger drop-off areas, and rideshare parking for train, bus, bicycle, walking, carpool, and vanpool trips.
• Invest in growing communities along the I-215 corridor and Ramona Expressway. Perris is expected to grow by 46% between 2019 and 2050.
