The Point: RTA offers cheap rides during winter break
Put down that video game controller, bundle up, and hop on the bus for fun destinations around Riverside County. This winter break, the Riverside Transit Agency is offering all students, from elementary school to high school, 25-cent fares aboard any bus. Just flash your student ID and ride for a quarter to the movies, the mall, Disneyland – anywhere RTA goes, anytime they operate.
With comfortable seating, free Wi-Fi, and USB ports, there has never been a better time to ride the bus. Show up in style, not in Mom’s minivan. Parents can rest assured that RTA will transport students where they need to go safely. With trained drivers and a clean environment, passenger safety is RTA’s top priority.
Where to go? Round 1 Bowling in Moreno Valley, John’s Incredible Pizza Company in Riverside, the Outlet Center in Lake Elsinore, the Perris 10 Theaters in Perris, or Dos Lagos in Corona are just a few options. Some locations may require a short walk, skateboard or bike ride to and from the closest bus stop, but you can take your skateboard or bike on the bus. Click here for a list of other destinations.
