The Point: Ride to Rams home games on the 91/Perris Valley Line this season for just $10 roundtrip
Kick off the start of football season by catching Metrolink to Los Angeles! Metrolink allows riders to make an end run around traffic to see the 2018/2019 NFC Champions Los Angeles Rams at the LA Memorial Coliseum.
For the final season of the Rams home games at the Coliseum, Metrolink is offering round-trip train rides on the 91/Perris Valley Line, starting this Sunday, September 15. Service will be provided to the following four home games; game tickets are sold separately:
- Sunday, September 15 at 1:25 p.m. vs. New Orleans Saints
- Sunday, September 29 at 1:05 p.m. vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Sunday, October 13 at 1:05 p.m. vs. San Francisco 49ers
- Sunday, December 29 at 1:25 p.m. vs. Arizona Cardinals
For just $10 roundtrip, pass traffic hassles and parking costs by riding in comfort to the newly renovated Coliseum. The $315 million renovation includes Wi-Fi throughout the stadium, new seats with cup holders, improved concession stands, more aisles, new video and scoreboards, and a modified sound system.
Buying train tickets is easy: just download the Metrolink App or visit a ticket vending machine at any Metrolink station and select “Football Train” from the “Special Ticket” menu. Your Metrolink ticket is valid for free connections to Metro Rail. For paper tickets, tap the paper ticket on the TAP target at the turnstile and the gate will release. For mobile tickets, use the Metro gates with scanners to scan your ticket.
To travel, follow the schedule printed below and the directions to make free connecting transit using Metro Rail.
Directions:
- Board the 91/Perris Valley Line train to L.A. Union Station
- Transfer to Metro Red or Purple Lines
- Exit at 7th Street/Metro Center Station
- Walk upstairs to transfer to Metro Expo Line toward Santa Monica
- Exit at Expo Park/USC Station or Expo/Vermont Station
- From either stop, it is a short five-minute walk to the Coliseum
