RCTC wants your input on the name of the new expressway between Winchester and San Jacinto.
RCTC, in partnership with the County of Riverside, will be constructing a new expressway between Winchester and San Jacinto. The new 12-mile county expressway will extend from south of Domenigoni Parkway north to Gilman Springs Road to serve the region’s growing population by improving mobility, reducing local traffic congestion, and providing long-term transportation solutions.
A new project name is needed that could ultimately be carried through to the new expressway. Following an earlier round of feedback, RCTC is inviting the public to select their choice from a list of proposed names that reflect the identity of the region. The new name will be revealed in fall 2026.
Make your choice by Sunday, August 9, 2026, using the form below.
