The Point: Angels Express Helped Fans Score Fun Way to Travel to Friday Night Games

Taking the train to the game was a home run for Angels fans all season long. While the Angels did not make it to the playoffs this season, fans still had plenty to cheer about, thanks in part to Metrolink’s Angels Express train.

The Angels Express provided service to 14 Friday evening home games, serving more than 3,000 fans from along the 91/Perris Valley Line, including boardings at the Perris-South, Perris-Downtown, Moreno Valley/March Field, and Riverside-Hunter Park/UCR Stations. The Angels Express offered a fun, hassle-free way to get to the game without striking out with traffic or parking costs. Fans can look forward to rooting for the home team when Angels Express service returns next spring.
