The Point: RCTC talks to Temecula residents about Metrolink travel options

The Temecula Education Foundation hosted its annual Taste of Temecula Valley, a family-friendly event to showcase restaurants, wineries, breweries and craft vendors from the Temecula Valley and region on April 27-28. The 5,000+ attendees sampled refreshments, browsed booths, enjoyed live entertainment, and visited the children’s Fun Zone.

RCTC representatives staffed a booth to provide information about using Metrolink for commuting and recreational travel. Booth visitors learned about using Metrolink’s 91/Perris Valley Line and the Inland Empire Orange County Line to ride to the San Clemente Pier, Oceanside, Los Angeles and other destinations. Visitors also received information about riding the Angels Express to Friday night home games at Angel Stadium.

Roundtrip weekend travel on any Metrolink line is just $10. Special promotions also are in effect for weekday rides on the 91/Perris Valley Line. Learn more at metrolinktrains.com
