Week of July 14, 2025
A full nighttime closure of southbound 71 at Butterfield Ranch Rd./Euclid Ave. in Chino and Chino Hills is scheduled on Thursday, July 17 and Friday, July 18 for crews to safely complete rock blanket installation.
Additionally, nightly lane and ramp closures on eastbound and westbound 91, along with connector closures and lane reductions on northbound and southbound 71, are scheduled throughout the week of July 14.

The Riverside County Transportation Commission, in partnership with Caltrans, is reconstructing the 71/91 Interchange Project in Corona.
The new non-tolled interchange is designed to improve safety, expand access to other modes of travel, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, enhance traffic flow, and support continued movement of native wildlife through the area. Construction began early 2023, and the new interchange opened to motorists on June 23, 2025.

Upcoming Full Westbound 91 Closures
Weeknight Full Closures of Southbound 71
The 71/91 Interchange Project will resume nightly full closures (Monday through Wednesday) of the westbound 91 on Tuesday, January 2 through Wednesday, January 24, 2024.
Due to the holidays, no closures are scheduled through January 1, 2024. Closures will resume on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
Motorists will need to use the 71, 60, to 57 as alternate routes. For motorists who need to access Green River Road, they may do so by exiting Auto Center Dr./Serfas Club Dr. Fire, police, and emergency responders will have access. We are also informing residents and businesses of detours, traffic expectations, and to allow extra travel time.
