No Car? No Problem!
When you get to work by bus, train, carpool, vanpool, bicycle, or on foot, Guaranteed Ride Home will get you where you need to go in an emergency.
Who Qualifies:
- Employees who work at participating worksites in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties; and
- Share the ride to work, and
- Experience a valid emergency
What Does the Program Offer?
- It provides a taxi ride or rental car for ridesharers to use in the event of a valid personal emergency, such as an unexpected illness or unscheduled overtime
- It offers up to 4 rides in a 12-month period
- It’s fast, it’s free, and best of all it’s guaranteed!
How Do I Register:
- If you work at a participating employer, your employer will have the necessary paperwork to get you home
- Contact your Employee Transportation Coordinator or Human Resources Department to find out if your company offers Guaranteed Ride Home. If your company does not offer Guaranteed Ride Home, urge them to do so.
- Individuals are not eligible to sign up for the program. Eligible individuals must coordinate guaranteed rides home through their employer. Click here for more information on the program to pass on to your employer.
To Get Home:
- Once your employer representative has approved your guaranteed ride home, complete the GRH Program Authorization Form (including required signatures) provided by your employer
- Telephone the program call center to request an approval number, referral phone number and account number
- Provide the taxi driver or rental car company a copy of the signed GRH Authorization Form
