During the upcoming fiscal year, the Riverside County Transportation Commission will expend more than $526 million on a variety of projects including construction of freeway projects, the development of the Perris Valley Metrolink extension, payments to local cities for street and local road construction and ongoing development of the Mid County Parkway and State Route 79 Realignment Project.

Rail Crossings Get Jump Start

State Proposition 1B funding could be available in the next few years for goods movement-related projects such as railroad grade separations, and RCTC wants to assist local jurisdictions in getting ready to compete successfully for available dollars.
